I've always been drawn to the young people who seemed to be carrying more than anyone realized—the ones navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, family challenges, or trying to figure out who they were. I wanted to be the person who could sit beside them and remind them they didn't have to go through it alone.
That belief still shapes my work today. I don't see therapy as a place to be "fixed." I see it as a space to slow down, feel safe, and realize you don't have to carry everything by yourself.
I also believe therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time. While we make space for pain, we also make space for what’s working—the strengths, small wins, and moments of resilience that often go unnoticed.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Grief Educator, trained in evidence-based care for trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families, and provide therapy in English and Spanish.
My hope is simple: that you leave feeling more understood, more capable, and less alone.
hi, I 'm Carolina.
your therapist
I believe the best therapy happens when you feel safe enough to be completely honest – even about the stuff that doesn't make sense yet. My job isn't to fix you. It's to help you figure out what you already know about yourself.
My approach
No performances, no platitudes – just honest, human support from someone who has been in the chair herself.
Therapy is not a last resort. It's one of the best choices you'll ever make for yourself.
Every walk of life, every kind of family, every version of you – welcomed, seen, and celebrated.
I work with preteens, teens, young adults, and families – mostly ages 10 to 25 – across Florida, in-person or virtually.
Your first consultation is free. No pressure, no commitment – just a conversation to see if we're a good fit.
