Whether you're navigating grief, processing trauma, figuring out who you are, or just feeling like something's off—this is a place to work through it. I provide individual therapy, family therapy, grief counseling, and trauma-focused care for preteens, teens, young adults, and the families who support them.
what we work on together
The thing you look forward to. The place where you laugh, cry, and leave feeling like yourself again. Therapy is not a last resort. It's a lifestyle — for the ones who are curious, who want to grow on purpose, who know that getting support is one of the coolest things you can do.
This is Carolina Serralta Mental Health Counseling.
And you're going to love it here.
I've always believed that the most important mental health conversations happen outside of the therapy room — in schools, in community spaces, online, and around the dinner table.
Stigma doesn't disappear on its own. It disappears when we start talking. So I show up wherever that conversation is happening: speaking to graduate students, working alongside organizations doing real community work, and building an online presence that makes mental health feel a little less heavy and a lot more human.
beyond the session
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida dedicated to helping children, teens, young adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. I'm also a Certified Grief Educator, and I have specialized training in evidence-based approaches for treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and family concerns. My work is grounded in clinical expertise, but the way I show up for my clients is anything but textbook.
Born and raised in Miami, I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Miami (Go Canes!). As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll probably find me rewatching Gilmore Girls with a café con leche in hand, letting my Golden Retriever, Cooper, hog the couch, or reading on my Kindle—always in dark mode. Baking is one of my favorite ways to unwind, and I'll never apologize for a good chocolate chip cookie.
